This iconic car will escort Ford in the NASCAR race in Bristol Food Land 500 Internastional Speedway. This is the second Mustang Wara-wiri in NASCAR racing this year after a 5.0-liter Mustang GT racing guide in Daytona 500 activities this February.
While not the strongest Mustang models available in the range 2011 model, V6 Mustang trusted more than capable for the task of the new engine thanks to the 3.7-liter six-speed transmit his power that is able to haul 305 horsepower with a torsional strength are close to 380Nm (38.7 kgm) .
With such abilities, V6 Mustang should not be experiencing difficulties meant to guard the Bristol race on the circuit along the half-mile oval is. Besides this pony car, is listed as the most efficient pace car in NASCAR history with its fuel consumption which records 13.2 km / liter on the highway.

2007 Ford Mustang GT520 Racing Orange Bodykit

The folks over at GeigerCars.de’s have successfully managed have successfully managed to fine tune the mammoth 5.2 litre V8 engine of the Mustang GT 520, and the result is a staggering maximum power output of 520 hp / 382.7 kW, up from stock 300 hp / 220 kW. With 563 Nm of torque (Woow!) available at 4,730 rpm, power is all yours! It can do a 0 – 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 178 mph which is around 287Km/h. Gee! that's shatteringly heroically fast. Along with that it's got high-performance brake system as well featuring vented and cross-drilled 355 x 32-mm brake discs and four-piston aluminum calipers on the front axle.
The Mustang GT 520 has got the heart and soul of the Mustang GT. In a true Mustang way, it gets a multimedia sound system from JBL that was custom-tailored acoustically and visually to the interior of the Ford Mustang coupe and also features an integrated real 5.1 surround system. I for the one wonder the wisdom behind this though as I would rather prefer the 5.2 litre V8 roar than music coming from all those Hi-fi systems.

Mustang Saleen S7 Twin Turbo Design Sport Car
Designed by Saleen engineers, the S7's engine and drivetrain incorporate the latest in modern racing technology. The new all-aluminum V8 engine casting was engineered and tooled by Saleen to displace seven liters. Redline is 6500 rpm. Space age materials and engineering are used throughout, including stainless steel valves, titanium retainers, beryllium exhaust valve seats, an aluminum throttle body, Saleen designed aluminum CNC-machined cylinder heads and stainless steel exhaust system. An exclusive Saleen-designed Front Engine Accessory Drive (FEAD) system results in an extremely compact engine, allowing for better packaging and overall weight distribution. The V8 incorporates a unique Saleen-designed side-mounted water pump, a belt-driven camshaft drive and a Saleen-engineered dry sump oil delivery system. The engine's mid-chassis placement optimizes weight distribution and center of gravity, making room for an unusually tall engine that allows for a very efficient induction system. Air enters a roof intake, passes through a 90-mm mass air meter and feeds into a carbon fiber plenum. From the plenum the air is routed to the twin ball bearing turbos, is pressurized to 5.5 psi max and then passes through an oval-bore throttle body into an aluminum intake manifold with eight individual runners.

Shelby reveals the new Super Snake package for 2010 Ford Mustang GT500

With the package, Shelby takes an existing customer car and performs power and handling upgrades. Depending on which supercharger the customer selects, the Super Snake will churn out 630 hp for the base configuration or 725 hp with the optional setup. Further changes under the hood include an upgraded intercooler, cold-air intake system and radiator. A Borla cat-back exhaust hangs out back for 630 hp models, while 725 hp cars use a JBA unit.
Handling improvements come courtesy of a Ford Racing suspension with adjustable dampers, stiffer springs, thicker antiroll bars, a front strut tower brace and custom 20in Super Snake wheels shod with Pirelli P-Zero tires. Helping to tame the additional power are Baer six-piston front calipers with cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
To ensure the car stands out from the crowd when off the track, Shelby’s engineers have also fitted a new hood with an oversized scoop and vents, racing stripes, rear quarter window scoops, and carbon-fiber splitter and side sills. Inside, the headrests feature embroidered Shelby logos and carbon-fiber faced gauge faces.
Pricing for the Super Snake package begins at $29,495 for the 630-hp model and $33,495 for the 725-hp kit, which includes installation at Shelby Automobiles’ Las Vegas plant or at a Shelby authorized mod shop. Additional options include a six-piston rear brake system, Eibach adjustable coil-over suspension and a two-tone leather interior upgrade. Each car will receive a Shelby consecutively number dash plaque, engine plate and listed in the official Shelby registry.
The first customer cars will be modified this August.
