Gemballa Mirage GT Matt Edition

One of the foremost tuners of Porsche, Gemballa, has revealed its latest creation, the Gemballa Mirage GT Matt Edition.

Unlike the Gemballa tuned Carrera GT, which have put out as much as 750hp (560kW), this time Gemballa hasn’t focus too much on the power output. Powered by a potent V10 engine, the Matt Edition reaches 670 HP and 630 Nm of torque. However, that's still about 50hp (40kW) more than the stock Carrera GT. Performance stats of the Matt Edition include 0-100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds, a 0-200 km/h (124 mph) time of 9.7 seconds, and a top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph).

Beyond the power mods, the Mirage GT Carbon Edition features an original paint job and seductive matt black. The Matt Edition adds lots of exposed carbon fiber accents, a black-on-black color scheme and custom alloy wheels. A hydraulic height-adjustable coilover kit is also supplied to improve handling, as well as protect the car when any steep bumps need to be conquered.

Inside, there’s a mix of blue Alcantara trimmings as well as carbon-fiber and aluminum accents.

It’s expected that the vehicle will be produced in very limited edition. And the point is that the price will be priceless with a pricetag of €300,000 ($419,000 USD).

Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition based on the Porsche Carrera GT

The Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition based on the Porsche Carrera GT is finally here. Gemballa, the renowned German tuner has announced it will make just five examples. Obviously, that will makes the Carbon Edition very exclusively and costly.

For the Carbon Edition, Gemballa hasn’t place too much emphasis on the power output but focus on a simple bi-color design scheme. Fromm the name of the car, we know that there are lots of carbon fiber parts. That’s true! The Carbon Edition adds lots of exposed carbon fiber accents, a black-on-white color scheme and custom alloy wheels. A hydraulic height-adjustable coilover kit is also supplied to improve handling, as well as protect the car when any steep bumps need to be conquered.
We know that some of Gemballa's GTs have put out as much as 750hp (560kW), but the Carbon Edition is satisfied with 670hp (500kW) on tap. That's still about 50hp (40kW) more than the stock Carrera GT, however, and with 465lb-ft (630Nm) of torque, it's sure to be a fun ride in any gear.

Gemballa's claimed performance stats back that up: 0-62mph (100km/h) takes 3.7 seconds, and it'll hit 124mph (200km/h) in just 9.7. Both of those figures shave two tenths of a second from the stock times, and the power boost takes top speed up to at least 208mph (335km/h).

Pricing for the upgrade starts at €298,000 (approximately $426,000), but they don't provide the original Carrera GT and so customer is required to supply their own Carrera GT.

Gemballa reveals Avalanche GTR 650 EVO-R based on the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio

Gemballa, the German Porsche specialists, is introducing its latest masterpiece ---- Avalanche GTR 650 EVO-R based on the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio.

Powered by an engine that generates 650hp(485kW), the car reaches a maximum speed of over 205mph via a number of engine and aerodynamic upgrades, sufficient for meeting the highest driving requirements.

With just a casual look, the car strongly emphasizes its link with the highest sports car class. Featuring gull wing doors and headlights taken from the Carrera GT supercar, the car also uses unique steel extensions welded directly onto the body shell in order to widen the car. The car also features a new hood and custom side skirts, a carbon-fiber front skirt, and a new rear skirt to match the customized LED taillights. There’s also a built-in rear diffuser to help improve downforce, as well as a new rear wing.

The engine gets a new race-spec crankshaft, forged pistons and high-flow turbochargers. There are also new camshafts and cylinder heads, and a high-performance exhaust system that helps give the car a much louder growl than the standard model.

The final results of all these modifications are not just a visually stunning car, but also one that can sprint to 62mph in just 3.4 seconds, thanks to the 650hp (485kW) and 700lb-ft (950Nm) of torque that the engine now churns out.

Other modifications include an upgraded interior and high performance wheels and tires. The interior was redesigned and transformed into a cozy compartment which exudes with motor sport sensations. Leather has replaced the original serial lining. Carbon fiber elements adorn the interior with aluminum pedals providing an attractive contrast. The sports steering wheel which is 340mm in diameter is equipped with a full-sized airbag and the sports seats of the Pole Position type provide additional seating firmness. In addition, optimum comfort and control is achieved through a combination of wheels and tires.

While the modifications of the Avalanche GTR 650 EVO-R may be astonishing, the real shocker comes in the enormous price tag - a cool 484,000 on top of the price of a new Porsche 911 Turbo, after which buyers are looking at a grand total of close to $600,000.

Gemballa Tornado 750 GTS: the 750 hp beast based on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo

The high-performance SUV is something of an oxymoron at first blush, but anyone that's taken the wheel of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo or Mercedes Benz ML-Class AMG knows it's possible. Gemballa takes the concept to the next level, dropping over 550lb (250kg) from the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and boosting power to 740hp (552kW).

The weight savings are perhaps the most welcome change to the highly tuned SUV, since most tuner kits add weight through more elaborate interiors and bulkier aero packages. Slashing over 550lbs of weight from the vehicle while bringing a full Alcantara and carbon-fiber interior to the table is an impressive feat, and a serious improvement over the stock vehicle and even its own limited-edition Tornado GTS.

Power is the real story here, however, with over 750 horses straining to break out from under the hood. The twin-turbo V8 cranks out a massive 740hp (552kW) or 750 metric horsepower - hence the name. Torque tops out at 775lb-ft (1,050Nm), and that's enough grunt to scoot the big - but now relatively light - vehicle to 62mph (100km/h) in just 4.3 seconds. That's near-supercar territory, as is the 186mph (300km/h) top speed.

Keeping the shiny side up is a custom supsension that allows the ride height to be adjustable by 70mm, suiting purpose and conditions with ease. Big 22x12in wheels at all four corners wrapped in 335/25 aspect tires helps keep the power and momentum under control. When the whole show needs to come to a stop, a set of six-piston brakes paired with 420mm discs up front and 380mm discs out back provide ample capacity.

The end result is impressive in every respect, including its impact on your wallet. Only 50 of the special-edition Tornado 750 GTS Cayenne Turbos will be built, at a price of €400,000 ($521,880) - yet another way that the Tornado delves into supercar territory.
