Ford Ranger production will end in 2009
Ford announced that the St. Paul, Minnesota plant will be closed at the end of 2009. This means that the life of the Ranger pickup truck will come to an end in 2009.
Ranger is being produced for nearly 15 years and this year sales drop with 24% compared to the 2006 when Ford sold 92,000 units.
The 2007 Ranger is available in XL, STX, XLT, SPORT, FX4 Off-Road and FX4 Level II trims, in regular-cab and in two- and four-door SuperCab configurations. Ranger offers three engine choices: a 2.3-liter, inline four-cylinder (I-4) and two V-6 engines
